1. Information we collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on www.lifescience.co.uk and all subsidiary websites (www.waterking.co.uk). We collect this information in order to process sales, respond to enquiries, provide services or for technical reasons. Personally identifiable information we may collect includes:

“Cookies,” which enables the website to remember your information if you return to the site, such as to keep you logged in or to remember your login credentials if you return to the site. When placing an order on our websites you will be presented with a tick box opt in consenting to your data being stored in our offline database. By ticking the box you are allowing us to collect data for our internal use only. This may include sending periodic reminder letters for products which require replacement parts, including filter cartridges. If you fail to tick this box it will prevent us from sending reminders and make ordering replacement parts less convenient. For all customers placing orders online some contact information will be stored and retained in accordance with accountancy practices for a duration as required by law. Thereafter the information that is retained will be subject to review (many of the products we supply require replacement parts so information may need to be retained due to continued interest). All payments are processed through Worldpay – sensitive payment details including credit/debit card details are never retained.
2. Visitors to our websites
Google Analytics:
When someone visits our websites we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which keeps the user anonymous. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find the identity of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be transparent. It will be made clear whenever we collect personal information.

We so not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to any third party unless it’s necessary to complete the functions of the web site. When phone enquiries are received information will only be kept as a record of the conversation to aid future calls. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We will never provide access to our database to any third party, except to the extent necessary to conduct the operations of the web site.

We will accept copies of these documents. However, we reserve the right to ask for originals if photocopies are not of a good quality. A ‘reasonable fee’ will be charged when a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly if it is repetitive. We may also charge a reasonable fee to comply with requests for further copies of the same information.

Our websites may contain links to other websites. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. 8. Data supplied to us by a third party data supplier
Lifescience Products Ltd uses data supplied by a third party agency for marketing of our products or services to named individuals working for contractors and consulting engineers, who are in roles likely to require those products or services. The agency used is a member of the Direct Marketing Association and adheres to a code which sets higher standards than the law requires for data protection.
Contact from Lifescience Products Ltd may be by phone, email or post and personal data includes basic information including: place of work, name, job title, business telephone number, business email address, their role within their organisation and who their colleagues are.
Lifescience Products has a legitimate interest in processing this data to meet the objectives of its business. It ensures any marketing is targeted, that we do not need to use a more broadcast approach and that those contacted are corporate subscribers who are decision makers specific to our line of business.
